Abstract
This research aims to analyze
beliefs and social reflection from Nokkratendon by Praratrattanobon (Pim
Narato).
The findings were as follows:
A great number of NOKKRATENDON
reflected beliefs of people. Of all the
beliefs, the parts were related to superstitions were found to be the largest
in proportion. Other beliefs which appeared
in smaller proportions were those related to auspices and fate respectively,
heaven and hell, local heroes, spirits and demons, amulets and magic, health
and well-being, fortune telling and astrology, environment and did not reflect
any beliefs of dreams and sex.
The writer reflected social images
in the forms of living condition, government administration, tradition,
doctrine and values.
